FOURTH AND FINAL TRANSITIONAL MEETING IN LAPPEENRANTA, FINLAND

The final transnational YEPS meeting took place in Lappeenranta, Finland in the last week of April. All six partner schools came together to work on the final activities on the project.

The week began with an in-depth presentation of the Finnish education system.                                         The principal of SAMPO Saimaa Vocational College offered an overview of the school’s programs and emphasized the correlation between the school and the local business. Next on the program was a walk around the facilities of the host school. Fully-fitted labs and comfortable recreational areas stand witness for a practical approach to teaching and respect for student needs.

The following days teams from all partner schools worked on the final product of the project – a portfolio of files presenting the project’s development and activities. An eye-catching design and a variety of activities describe the portfolio best. There are collections of posters, created exclusively for the last meeting; presentations, questionnaires, brochures and videos. The portfolio is now available for download by anyone interested in the project and its aims.
